Renewing and Strengthening the Resolve, A Retreat for Bishops, March 6-10, 2017

Fr. Roger J. Landry
Retreat for Bishops, “Renewing and Strengthening the Resolve”
Shellbourne Conference Center
Valparaiso, Indiana
March 6-10, 2017

There were eleven, roughly half-hour, conferences given in this retreat. Nine of them were on the resolutions a bishop-elect makes at his episcopal ordination, in the hope that on a retreat those resolutions could be renewed and strengthened. An introductory conference was given with some thoughts on making a good retreat. And a concluding conference was given on Our Lady, focusing on the Centenary of her apparitions in Fatima, and what we can learn from consecration to her Immaculate Heart about renewing and strengthening the resolutions a bishop makes.

The audios of the conferences are below as well as the unedited notes I used to give the conferences, which contain many of the footnotes for the citations in the conferences.
